City’s Human Settlements Roadshow visits Gugulethu, Crossroads

The City’s Human Settlements Roadshow is visiting Crossroads today and Wolwerivier next week. Teams were in Gugulethu earlier this week on 12 September 2023. Officials will be assisting residents with their human settlements enquiries over the coming weeks as the City visits areas across the metro.
'Our roadshows are turning out to be really popular and well-attended by our residents. I welcome the opportunity to connect with our residents and to help where we can. Over the next few weeks, residents from Browns Farm, Lotus River and Milnerton will also have the opportunity to engage directly with City Human Settlements staff members. In past weeks, the roadshow made its way to a number of areas including Kensington, Kuils River, Langa, Morningstar and Westlake.
'We are looking forward to visiting residents in many more areas over the next few weeks as we continue our roadshow across the metro. The need for affordable housing in Cape Town is immense, as it is in municipalities across South Africa, and we all need to work together to provide solutions to and for our residents.
'Working directly with our residents and earning their trust is the type of delivery I take very seriously as it makes a tangible difference to the lives of Capetonians. We will continue to do everything we can to deliver to the people who need it the most,' said the City's Mayoral Committee Member for Human Settlements, Councillor Carl Pophaim.

- Title Deeds (New and Historical)
- C3 Notifications
- Specific projects
- Housing Needs Register applications
- Tenancy management
- Affordable housing enquiries
- Informal settlement queries
